The media team of Kogi State former Governor Alhaji Alhaji Yahaya Bello has disassociated itself from the Yahaya Bello for APC national chairman position posters that flooded major streets in the federal capital territory Abuja.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the media Director of the team Comrade Micheal Ohiare and made available to theheraldnews.ng on Friday in Lokoja.
It described the action as the negative handiworks of political enemies of their chairman Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
”These reports would have, ordinarily, been ignored as those close to the former governor are aware that, as a loyal party member, whose unflinching commitment to the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has never been in doubt, nothing of such can emanate from him, especially when there are laid down guidelines”.
The body said since this is not the first time mischief makers would go to ridiculous extent like printing posters in his name to achieve their evil motives.
“Silence would no longer be golden at this time”.
According to the statement, no one has been authorised either directly or indirectly to print much less paste any poster on behalf of former Governor Yahaya Bello.
“Beware of frustrated mischief makers. They are at it again having failed on many fronts, in their desperate “bring-him-down-at-all-costs” mission”.
The team equally warned opposition parties in the state to forget Kogi State in their political calculations as the state a hundred percent progressive and will deliver a hundred votes for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the next election.
