The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Mrs Bolanle Olukoju has again been listed among Nigeria’s most influential Public Relations and Communications Professionals in the 2025 PR Power List, jointly curated by GLG Communications and The Guardian Newspaper.
Olukoju, who also made the list in 2024, is recognised for her continued impact and leadership in the public communication space.
The recognition celebrates 50 top PR and communication leaders driving transformation across various sectors.
Olukoju’s category recognises individuals who are actively disrupting the norm and driving innovation and those in the category are described by the organizers of the award as strategic thinkers, campaign leaders, brand builders, and boundary-pushers, shaping the future of PR and communication through bold moves, long-term experience, and measurable impact.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Communications, Olukoju dedicated the honour to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON).
She described the Governor as the true enabler of visionary leadership and strategic communication in the State.
“This recognition belongs to His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for giving professionals like us the platform to serve and contribute to the growth of public communication in Kwara State. His support and reforms continue to inspire innovation across our media space,” she said.
The statement informed that the 2025 list features professionals under four categories—Rising Voices, Changemakers, Community Impact, and Fourth Estate—with Hon. Olukoju, listed among the strategic communicators and public affairs leaders across Nigeria.
