Barring any last-minute alteration, the Kwara State House of Assembly has fixed Tuesday for screening of four nominees as members of the state Judicial Service Commission.
The nominees included Mande Aliu Umar from Kaiama Local Government Area, Titus Olasupo Ashaolu from Oke-Ero Local Government Area, Lawal Victor Jimoh from Ilorin South Local Government Area and Dr Saliu Ajia from Ilorin West Local Government Area of the state.
They are to appear for screening at the hallowed chambers of the state House of Assembly.
The invitation of the nominees was sequel to a letter Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq transmitted to the House, requesting the approval of the nominees as members of the state judicial commission.
In the letter addressed to the Speaker, Engr Yakubu Danladi Salihu, the Governor urged the House to screen and confirm the appointment of the nominees into the commission.
The Speaker, who read the letter on the floor of the House, directed the nominees to submit 35 copies of their curriculum vitae to the office of the Clerk to the House.
He also directed them to appear for Screening on Tuesday 9th September, 2025.
