For Arsenal fans across the world, happy days are here again as latest reports indicate a full verbal agreement was reached on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 for Swedish striker, Viktor Gyökeres’ move to North London from Sporting Lisbon.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano broke the news, declaring, “Viktor Gyökeres to Arsenal, here we go!” as all parties finalized the blockbuster move.
Arsenal secured the 27-year-old’s signature with a €63.5 million base fee, plus an additional €10 million in add-ons, after Sporting Lisbon accepted Arsenal’s final offer with Gyökeres’ agent reportedly lowering his commission to ensure the deal went through smoothly.
