The University of Ilorin (Unilorin) has disclosed that a total of 21,971 admission seekers applied for its 2025/2026 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise. The Director of Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre, Unilorin, Prof Kamilu Rauf, however, informed journalists on Monday that the university can only admit 13,000 students. Rauf explained that the exercise, which comprised 20,220 candidates for the UTME and 1,751 candidates for Direct Entry (DE), commenced on August 28 and will end on September 4.
