For users of its App in the United States of America, Google Maps has now changed the Gulf of Mexico’s name to the Gulf of America. In apparent reference to the Order signed recently by President Donald Trump, Google informed that it was making the change as part of “a longstanding practice” of the following name changes when updated by official government sources. An elementary school teacher has stabbed an eight-year-old girl, a pupil at an elementary school in South Korea. Police reports said the female teacher, who is in her 40s, has confessed to stabbing the student in the central city of Daejeon. The girl was found with stab wounds on the second floor of a school building at 18:00 local time (09:00 GMT) on Monday and was pronounced dead at the hospital. All workers in Lagos State Civil Service are to report back to their offices and begin regular Monday to Friday working days, with effect from March 31st, 2025. Intending promoters of private universities in Nigeria will have to pay more before accessing application and having same processed. This is sequel to an announcement by the National Universities Commission (NUC) that it has increased application fees for establishing private universities by more than 400 percent. It premised the decision on the need for better regulation and alignment with modern educational demands.
