Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has transmitted two names to the state House of Assembly for consideration and approval as commissioners in the state executive council.
The nominees are Dr Lawal Olohungbebe and Dr Mariam Nnafatima Imam, according to informed sources from the Government House, Ilorin.
If approved, the duo would be joining the administration of the Governor in cabinet capacity as members.
Both Olohungbebe and Imam are currently serving as Senior Special Assistants to the Governor on Community Development and Sustainable Development Goals respectively.
theheraldnews.ng reports that while Olohungbebe hails from Ajikobi Ward in Ilorin West Local Government Area of the state, Imam, who recently bagged her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), is from Tsaragi Ward III in Edu Local Government Area of the state.
Although the state House of Assembly has yet to announce the receipt of the nomination, it was learnt that the names of the nominees were contained in a letter the Governor addressed to the Speaker of the House, Engr Yakubu Danladi Salihu.
