The Kwara State Police Command has a new Commissioner.
This follows the redeployment of senior officers across the country by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
Commissioner of Police Ojo Adekimi has now been posted to head the Kwara State Command in a broad restructuring aimed at enhancing security operations nationwide.
The new postings take immediate effect, though they remain subject to final approval from the Police Service Commission (PSC).
CP Adekimi steps into the role at a crucial time, as security challenges continue to demand strategic leadership and effective policing in Kwara State.
His experience and leadership will be key in maintaining law and order while fostering strong community relations.
